In brief
To choose an electric scooter, start with how you'll use it: your usual routes, distances, and where you'll store it. Then compare stability, real-world range, comfort, after-sales support and warranty.
1. Start with your habits
For a week, note where you go and how far your routes are: café, supermarket, market, pharmacy, friends. This tells you how much range you truly need.
2. Stability and number of wheels
Four wheels generally give you more stability; three offer more agility in tight spaces. If you ride on uneven roads or slopes, stability matters even more.
3. Size and storage
Measure your garage door, lift or entrance hall. An excellent scooter that won't fit at home is an inconvenient scooter.
4. Comfort
Seat, backrest, armrests, control positions: try it in person if you can. That's why we offer the SENIORBIKE test ride.
5. After-sales support, warranty, delivery
Ask who steps in if there's a problem, how quickly, and how the warranty works. These matter as much as performance.
