This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar tools (such as the browser's local storage, "localStorage") the seniorbike.it website uses, in accordance with Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, the GDPR and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Cookie Guidelines of 10 June 2021. 1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device to make the site work or to collect information. Similar tools, such as localStorage, work in the same way and are treated as cookies.

2. Technical tools (always active)

These are necessary for the site to function and do not require consent (Article 122, paragraph 1, Italian Privacy Code):

  • sb_cookie_consent (localStorage, SENIORBIKE) – stores your cookie choices – duration 6 months;
  • sb_admin_token (localStorage, SENIORBIKE) – keeps staff logged in to the restricted area; it is not used for visitors – until logout;
  • Stripe cookies – if you pay by card, you are taken to Stripe's secure payment page, which uses its own technical and anti-fraud cookies: Stripe privacy and cookies.

The site's typefaces are hosted on our own servers: no data is sent to external font providers.

3. Measurement tools (only with your consent)

  • sb_attr (localStorage, SENIORBIKE, first party) – stores which campaign, website or advert you came from (UTM parameters, referring site, first page visited) so we know which campaigns work; this information is linked to an enquiry or an order only if you submit one – duration up to 6 months or until you withdraw consent.

The site currently does not use third-party profiling or advertising cookies (e.g. social pixels or remarketing). If any are introduced in future, this page will be updated and we will ask for your consent again.

4. How to manage your choices

On your first visit, a banner allows you to:

  • close the banner with the X: only technical tools remain active;
  • Reject: same effect as the X;
  • Accept all: measurement tools are also activated;
  • Customise: you choose the individual categories.

You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. Your choices are remembered for 6 months; the banner will not be shown again before then, unless there are significant changes to the tools used. Scrolling the page or continuing to browse does not constitute consent.

You can also delete cookies and site data from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
